2021 SIBiol Research Trust Fund (RTF) Grant

The Singapore Institute of Biology (SIBiol) invites early career researchers (i.e. PhD students, post-doctoral researchers) who are Life, Ordinary or Student members of the SIBiol based in Singapore to apply for the 2021 SIBiol Research Trust Fund (RTF) Grant.
The theme for this year’s grant call is “Environmental Sustainability”. Research related to and will contribute to the sustainability, management and conservation of the natural environment will be considered.
Opening date: 25 January 2021
Closing date: 12 March 2021
The Singapore Institute of Biology Research Trust Fund (SIBiol RTF) is a registered charity that supports and facilitates research on local topics or questions in biology by SIBiol members. To date, the SIBiol RTF has supported over 30 research projects. Each Research Grant awards up to SGD 5,000 for: (i) an original two-year project (renewable for another term, subject to progress assessment), or (ii) funding interns to perform research under an existing grant.
For 2021, SIBiol RTF will fund one research project but more may be considered depending on the quality of proposals received. Please see the attached images for details for the grant application.
